The technology of molding stiffening ribs by controlled pressure of an elastic medium on pipes of a large diameter is developed. On the basis of conducted research the technique of calculating of main parameters of technological process of determination both an optimum construction and forms of the elastic tool as a punch of a variable rigidity is created. The diagram of specialized plant for molding stiffening ribs, fulfillment separating and other forming operations by an elastic medium on weldless pipes made of aluminium and titanium alloys, carbon and stainless steels of a diameter up to 400 mm and length up to 4000 mm is represented.
