摘要

By chemical and X-ray analysis the features of carbothermal reduction in SiO{sub}2-Al{sub}2O{sub}3 system with simultaneous its nitridation are investigated when powders of crystalline SiO{sub}2 (α-quartz) or amorphous SiO{sub}2 were used. It is established that amorphous SiO{sub}2 promotes SiC formation and displaces reaction of nitridation to appearence of AlN. It is found also that both formed phases are solid solutions SiC-AlN and AlN-SiC
