摘要

The formation of surface layer on a low-alloyed steel during light-thermal treatment with the Si{sub}3N{sub}4-Al{sub}2O{sub}3-based composite material was investigated. The working surfaces were studied using metallographic, XRD and EPMA analyses. The formation in alloyed layer of the Al{sub}2SiO{sub}5, (Fe, Cr){sub}2O{sub}3, (Cr, Al){sub}2O{sub}3, NiCrO{sub}4 corrosion-resistant phases was established. These phases increase the microhardness by 2-5 times and sea-corrosion-resistance by more than two orders compared with the initial surface.
