摘要

Lube oil compositions with various anti-friction and anti-wear additives have been tested. The tests have been targeted at evaluation of how each particular additive effected performance of such tribological situations as gray cast iron cylinder liner-chromate treated piston ring, characterized by high friction of boundary. 30 tribological situations have been investigated. Resulting empirical curves have been analyzed in terms of structure/energy theory of wear. Functions yielded well fit the general energy-related wear model.
