The workpiece flange stability loss in process of the thick-plate drawing

摘要

The scientific grounded 3D model of the thick-plate drawing process allowing to forecast initiation of folds on a flange and showing the smoothing possibility of the folds initiated during deformation is proposed. It's shown that at FEM modeling it's possible to set geometric and physical discontinuities.
