Chill casting of locomotive diesel 10D100 cylinder liners

摘要

The results of research of locomotive diesel cylinder liners cast in metal mould with different thickness of heat-insulating coating are presented. The influence of coating thickness on cast-iron cylinder liners structure, mechanical properties and wear resistance are shown, the optimal parameters of coating and liners chill casting efficiency are defined.
