A virtual cooperative workroom shared by users in separate spaces with the same layout

摘要

The Virtual Cooperative Workroom is an application of augmented reality to enable people in separate locations to feel they share the same workspace and objects. To unite each separate space as one virtual shared space, we use two rooms with exactly the same physical and visual layout for each person engaged in the work. This system had a problem that when each space object was laid to overlap in the virtual shared space, users could not handle the object placed down. In this paper we solved this problem by enabling users to switch the overlapped objects using mouse action as cooperation working support for shared objects.
