摘要

The saturated absorption spectra of the R(60)8-4 and P(54)8-4 lines of iodine molecules was detected using the 633nm external-cavity diode laser. To the next, the laser diode was stabilized to the (o) component of R(60)8-4 line as a frequency standard with a direct modulation scheme. As a result, frequency stability of 3.3 × 10{sup}(-12) was obtained for an integration time of 100s. Furthermore, non-modulated laser frequency is stabilized utilizing FM side-band spectroscopy.
