PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saturated absorption line determination method which allows for excellent certification of a saturated absorption line, by determining whether or not noise is superposed on a secondary differential signal.;SOLUTION: The saturated absorption line determination method includes threshold setting steps ST2A, ST2D for setting first and second thresholds in magnitude relation, based on the output value of an optical output signal, a waveform determination step ST2B for comparing the output value of secondary differential signal of an optical output signal with the first and the second thresholds, and determining whether or not the output waveform of secondary differential signal goes above the first threshold from below the second threshold when the cavity length changes, and further changes below the second threshold, and absorption line determination steps ST2C, ST2E for determining whether or not it is a saturated absorption line based on the determination results from the waveform determination step ST2B.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
