摘要

The study relates to deformation hardening, resistance to softening during heating and wear resistance during abrasion and dry sliding friction of high-carbon and low-alloyed steels after laser hardening and additional surface plastic deformation with a hard-alloy indentor. It is shown that friction treatment with the sliding indentor improves significantly strength and tribological properties of laser hardened steels.
