Forecast International projects the U.S. Army will spend some USD32.59 million over the next 10 years on engineering development of the FAAD C{sup}2I system; In FY07, look for Project 126 to work on migrating FAAD C2 Engagement Operations software modules to the Joint Command and Control Mission Capability Packages; In FY07, expect the project to work on designing Joint Tactical Radio System interfaces. The Forward Area Air Defense Command, Control, and Intelligence (FAAD C{sup}2I) system will be a United States Army system that ties together the sensors and weapons of the U.S. Army Short Range Air Defense (SHORAD) battalions.
