摘要

The demand for high performance engineering plastics(polyethylene naphthalete (PEN) etc.)has been continuing.Light Cycle Oil(LCO)is thought to be important raw materials of high performance engineering plastics,since it contains high amount of diaromatics.FUJI OIL CO.conducted development of a hydrodealkylation process which converts LCO into high purity #beta#-methylnaphthalene and naphthalene at a high yield.A circulating fluidized-bed system was adopted as a reactor,because continuous regeneration of catalyst is possible.In this paper,the development of the process,especially a study on designing the circulating fluidized-bed system is described.
