摘要

In the implementation of quadratic adaptive Volterra filters, especially for the reduction of nonlinear distortion of acoustic equipment, the properties of high-speed processing and low power consumption are required. To achieve these requirements, the pipeline implementation is an important technique. On the other hand, the convergence property for colored inputs is also an essential factor for actual situation. This paper proposes a pipeline quadratic adaptive Volterra filter based on NLMS algorithm. This filter gives a better convergence performance than that of LMS pipeline algorithm. The proposed implementation has the zero output latency and the reduced critical path compared to the non-pipelined implementation.
