Issues for Japanese hospital architecture

I explain three issues that Japanese hospitalarchitects have to work on. Firstly, the architects should regardpatient-oriented Interior Design as important, such as designing amulti-beds room that have a single-oriented environment.Secondly, I refer to floor planning principle. Managing clean zoneand soiled zone should be accurate. Enclosed soiled workroomsshould be obviously separated from clean workrooms, forinstance in a general operating department. Materials shall bestrictly sorted into unused and used. Then, the direction forsupplying, collecting, and processing materials shall be clear.Thirdly, Big bang for medical and welfare issues and changingmedical facility architectures. Western hospitals have changedduring this 30 years, though; Japanese hospitals have notrestructured so much. Innovation for Japanese medical facilitiesis behind with Westerners' innovations. We will surely experience huge changes.
