摘要

Acidic properties of SO_4~-2/ZrO_2 andWO_3/ZrO_2 were measured by temperature-programmeddesorption method of ammonia. The water vapor treatment methodremoved the ammonia species adsorbed on zirconia support, andmade it possible to detect only the acid site generated by theloading. Superacid site (H_0 = -19) was observed on asubmonolayer of sulfated species, and excess sulfate generated therelatively weak (H_0 =-12) acid site with a high density. Theformer was active for Friedel-crafts alkylation of benzene withbenzyl chloride, while the latter was active for skeletalisomerization of butane.
