Raising of the winter wheat productivity by the method of breeding in conditions of the forest-steppe zone in Ukraine

The results of changing the varieties of Myronovka Institute plant breeding -- in the period before the World War II (Ukrainka 0246) and those regionized in the 60-70s (Mironovskaya 808, Illychovka) and in the 90s are given in this paper. An analysis of investigation results in competitive 5-years strain test showed that the yield increase in varieties regionized in the 90s as compared with those of the pre-war period and of the 60-70s took place owing to productive filleting increase (up to 35.9%) and that of grain weight per ear (up to 34%).
