摘要

This paper introduces the design and development of a FPGA-based chirp signals generator in NSPO, Taiwan, for SAR applications. In order to gain more flexibility for different applications, an adjustable chirp rate scheme is adopted in Pedersen's structure [1] and the designed bandwidth is up to 300MHz by parallel processing techniques. The performance result shows the feasibility of the proposed schemes and the spurious free dynamic range (SFDR) reaches 56.6dBc. Meanwhile, a practical measure called signal-to-loss-ratio (SLR) is introduced to evaluate the performance of digital chirp signal and our SLR reaches 49dB.
