Development of 9GHz band solid-state Multi-Parameter Weather Radar

The feature of the precipitation phenomenon are various according to the region and the season where a remarkable precipitation phenomenon has been seen. Therefore, it is important to place a radar observation in order to obtain the necessary data for the research. Moreover, it is indispensable to prepare weather radar easy to install and to transport. In addition, it came to be able to catch a new side of the precipitation phenomenon with the weather radar by the research of Multi-Parameter Radar advances in resent years. TOSHIBA developed a 9GHz band solid-state weather radar which is compact, light, easy to install and transport and is able to do multi-parameter observation.
