The characteristic of the hearing aid which applied the sound pressure compression method

Hearing aid that composed of a new compression method is proposed. The Sound pressure compression method is nonlinear amplifying process taking human's hearing characteristic into consideration. Though higher harmonic components and amplitude modulations are both produced by the process, these distortions are easily eliminated by dividing their frequency band-width and by filtering. This method is applied to a wide variety of hearing impediment, because the compression rate is changed noticeably and easily
