摘要

The consolidation rate equation of imcompressive cake was lead by taking the permeability of gypsum mold into account, and the effect of the permeability on the consolidation rate was examined. When the permeability of gypsum mold is over thousand times that of cake, the effect is negligible. However, when the permeability is below thousand times, the permeability actually affects on the consolidation rate. The results of the present works can easily make the estimation of the contribution ofgypsum mold to the consolidation of slip casting, where permeability is reciprocally proportional to the square of specific surface area of constituting solids.
