A handover scheme for long-vehicular-multihomed mobile networks

摘要

We present a cooperative mobile routers-based handover scheme for long-vehicular-multihomed mobile networks. The basic idea is to enable the mobile routers to access different subnets to cooperatively receive packets destined for other mobile routers during a handover. By doing so, the correlation between the handover latency and packet loss is broken, thus the impact of handover latency on packet loss is minimized.
