摘要

A DC fuse is required to interrupt current with overcurrent (two times or more the rated current value) and short-circuit current (about several hundred amperes) interruption. An arc-free DC fuse is proposed using a transient current switch circuit consisting of a diode and a capacitor arranged in parallel with the fuse. Fuse elements made of Zn and Ag are studied experimentally. The differences between overcurrent fusion and short-circuit current fusion are examined experimentally.
