摘要

As the communication technology has been developed, a variety of local networks and communication devices have been deployed in recent years. In such a ubiquitous network environment, there are not only high performance PCs or servers providing network services but also simple sensors and network appliances providing minimal functionality for a particular purpose. Since the simple network devices connected each other by many local networks can provide various network services, new network architecture is needed to provide communication infrastructure across different network environments for these devices. This paper proposes a network architecture which can provide virtual private networks according to the purposes by distributed gateways organizing a various network address space into a virtual network address space, and shows the network architecture can make the ubiquitous network secure and easy to manage various devices.
