摘要

We have carried out a class on robots as an integrated study related to an education of Japanese language at elementary school. The class had following three themes. 1) What is a robot? 2) What kind of robot do you want to create? 3) Let's make programs of robots. Some robot toys and robot pets were directly observed in the class. Moreover, easy games used an educational robot BontenMaru were held. Almost children could make programs for the games by using Makimono language with Hiragana commands. These special classes using real robots gave many interests on robots to children to that many earnest discussions were developed in the following classes of Japanese language.
