A method of authentication and tamper proofing for JPEG2000 images

摘要

We propose a scheme for detecting malicious alteration in JPEG2000 images. This scheme uses JPEG2000-Layer structure and is based on digital watermarking and cryptographic techniques. The property is in (a) lossy compression support, (b) re-compression after authorization support, (c) lossless-compression support, and (d) both image-specific and optional information supported as authorizing data. Especially, the property (d) enables to detect various malicious alterations that are not detected by conventional methods.
