Most of the current analyses involving MIMO systems assume perfect or no channel state information at receiver and/or transmitter. However, in practical systems, perfect CS1 does not exist and thus there is a need to take into account the errors and delays in channel state information and the spatial correlation during the evaluation of MIMO systems. In this paper, we upper bound the outage probability of a MIMO eigenmode transmission system with imperfect channel estimation at the Rx and delayed quantized feedback to the Tx in a spatially correlated continuous fading channel. Our results showed that tradeoffs between all these parameters exist and in most cases an optimal solution is available. Thus the upper bound presented here can serve as a comprehensive guide to the actual performance of MIMO eigenmode transmission system under real life propagation and system conditions.
