Surface finishing plays an important role in the metal processing industry. Galvanized strips are coated on both sides with one or more paint layers to get desired surface properties like colour, corrosion resistance and soon. The strips are then processed into, e.g., washing machines, electrical control cabinets, car parts, etc. The article also contains a brief overview of the colour-coating technology and a description of the developed mathematical models.
