摘要

This paper is written to inform GTSJ readers of the Integrated Control and monitoring System (ICS) that is required by the H System combined cycle power plant. The H System combined cycle is a state-of-the-art, highly efficient combined cycle power generation unit that accommodates a single-shaft gas turbine (GT), steam turbine (ST) and generator with a multi-pressure heat recovery steam generator (HRSG). We will discuss the major systems of the H-System combined cycle and its the control system requirements, including topics on the adaptation to the Japanese market. Overviews of how the ICS is used to sequence equipment from startup to shutdown and how the Full Scope Engineering Simulator aided in the validation of the H System combined cycle and the ICS will also be discussed.
