摘要

From the available wet gas compressor performance data presented in the literature, there are consistent trends showing that as more liquid is added to the compressor, the compressor power increases (reduced efficiency), pressure ratio increases and gas volume flow rate decreases. It is important to note, however, that the effect of wet gas on pressure ratio is dependent on the operating condition because the pressure ratio may not be affected at high volume flow rates. The test data used to illustrate the performance trends are from a past experimental program completed at Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) [1-2], as illustrated in Figure 1.
