摘要

The structure changes of surface layers of the Fe-Al-C-system monocrystalline samples have been investigated by the X-ray technique after five exposures of the (8 ms) pulse laser (10 J) radiation. The investigation of the martensite structure led to the conclusion that the austenite-structure changes, after exposure to the pulse laser radiation, extends for 4,5 mm from the surface of samples. This 4,5-mm surface layer consists of six austenite patches that are different in structure.
