摘要

For 13-days old cucumber seedling (Cucumis sativum) the size of metabolic nitrate pool (MP) was determinated after starvation period (10--13 days). The plant roots of control variant had the size of MP 0,66 mkM NO_3~- g F.W. During nitrate starvation and absent chloride and sulphate MP -> 0. During starvation period when chloride and sulphate are present in nutrient solution MP was 67 and 50% of control respectively. The results suggest that in cucumber seedling, having high level of endogenous nitrate, during nitrate starvation period addition chloride and sulphate in solution promoted NO_3~- accumulation on the way supporting size of metabolic nitrate pool
