A study of UHF band radio propagation characteristics using television broadcast wave

In future it is expected for many users to request the Information Services (IS), which feature broadband, mobility and asymmetric traffic stream. We proposed new communication and broadcasting information traffic platforms using UHF band (470 to 770 MHz) as the broadband download media. In this platform, it is necessary to realize the seamless connection between outdoors and indoors environments. In this paper, we measured the received level of existing terrestrial TV broadcast waves, and from the measurement results we study the radio propagation characteristics of UHF band wave both outdoors and indoors
