The technology of lining fabrication and launching the IAT-6 furnaces using semi-dry ramming mix PLIRAM 27S is put into practice It was established that time required for launching the furnaces from semi-dry ramming mix PLIRAM 27S makes 3 days instead of 17, and electric power consumption decreases from 71,606 to 27,208 kWt centre dot h, i.e. more by two times. Usage of semi-dry ramming mix PLIRAM 27S excludes applying the crushing and milling, sieving, mixing equipment, tanks for storage of heat-resistant concrete components and improves ecological and labour conditions.
