8-channel arrayed optical variable attenuator using Ti:LiNbO{sub}3

摘要

Recently optical variable attenuators are more important device for DWDM systems. So, we developed 8-channel arrayed optical variable attenuator using Ti:LANbO{sub}3. This device has good performance (1nsertion loss: Attenuation: 31.8dB), and very compact size (14.4 × 73 × 5.2mm) - Moreover; we have finished short reliability tests of this device, and demonstrated of high reliability.
