百周年記念館

摘要

The building was built by contribution for Centennial Anniversary of the Kyushu Institute of Technology. Fa?ade of the forum entrance is made of the glass curtain wall. That's designed with a fusion using natural and artificial light. High power LED was used as light source from the edge of 40mm- thick acrylics which is specially ordered to make profound image. We could get over 500Lx in spite of 8m ceiling high. It was achieved by LED's beam power. Acrylic lines by edge lighting give rhythmical accent on the ceiling. We succeed to impress LED's efficiency and make good environment.
