Development of Vision-Based Fuzzy Control System for Dieless Tube-Drawing and Bellows Forming Processes by Local Heating Technique

摘要

Dieless forming technique offers high flexibility of material selection, workpiece size, and geometry of the target shape because the deformation is not guided by dies set but only by changing processing variables. However the promising of this process faced problems of low product quality in dimensional accuracy. Several efforts have been conducted to enhance dimensional accuracy for dieless drawing process by applying drawing load control and developing close loop control using laser micrometer. However those approaches are not satisfactory and only applicable for specific processing condition of forming process. While there are no reports to improve accuracy of dieless bellows forming process. Therefore more advanced control system is required to improve dimensional accuracy for dieless drawing and dieless bellows forming process.
