Metrological aspects of the problem related to improvement the accuracy of heat energy measurements, as well as the problem associated with discordance 's in heat energy measurement results obtained by suppliers and users are considered.Metrological requirements for the measuring devices and the technical manuals used for their verification have been stated.Metrological certification of centres for heat energy metering should be made through the calculations by means of corresponding software packages using actual values of systematic errors of the measuring devices of the centres.
