Preliminary Die-Rolling of Preforms for Closed-Die Forging of 'МАЗ' Auto-Track Front-Axle Beams

摘要

The technological process of die rolling is developed. It is defined the optimal profile of roller pass, which enables to obtain for one pass the preform of rational dimensions and shape for front-axle beam dosed-die forging. Introduction of this technology and the die-rolling mill developed has resulted in reduction of metal consumption and die life increasing.
