New magnetic-thermal inspection method of the spot welded joints allowing according to the residual magnetic induction value in joint zone to determine with rather high accuracy the nugget diameter and find faulty fusions as a agglutination is developed. Inspection parameters optimal for different metal depth are stated, procedure and equipment for inspection of articles from ferromagnetic materials are proposed.
