AC variable-speed drives becoming more intelligent in industrial plant applications

摘要

AC variable-speed drives for industrial plant applications have become more functional and compact with higher performance. As a consequence, they are not only supporting energy saving in plants and the improvement of product quality, but also greatly contributing to improved productivity in small-lot, large-variety manufacturing. Toshiba has a product lineup of AC variable-speed drives covering the range from several kW to several tens of MW. We are making efforts to further improve the functions of these drives such as automatic tuning, speed sensorless vector control, and remote maintenance, in order to respond to users' future needs.
