Manufacture of Spring-8 beamline components

摘要

IHI has much experience of me manufacture of synchrotron radiation beamline components. IHI delivered monochromators for the Photon Factory at KEK (High Energy Accelerator Research Organization) in the 1980s. IHI started manufacture of synchrotron radiation beamline after development of its own compact synchrotron radiation source in 1989. IHI manufactured the beamline components of large synchrotron radiation facility, SPring-8. IHI delivered the insertion device for soft X-ray, front end system,wire type position monitor, double crystal monochromator, high energy X-ray monochromator, X-ray mirror, silicon crystal and radiation shield hutch. Basic parameters of the components are standardized and the number of beamlines will increase.
