摘要

Experimental sampling of converter matte produced by the 《Norilsk Nickel》 JSC metallurgical facilities has been conducted during pouring and after crushing of ingots. Degree of nickel, copper, cobalt, iron and sulfur distribution variation in melt and crushed converter matte has been determined, and representativeness of separate sampling selection and preparation operations has been estimated. Causes of systematic discrepancy between results of converter matte sampling in melted and solid state have been revealed.
