Magnetorestrictive displacement transducers with magnetic scales

摘要

Structural schemes of acoustic displacement transducers with mobile magnet and waveguide of magnetostrictive material are described. The sensors are distinguished by using direct and inverse magnetostrictive effect (Joule's and Villari's effect)for excitation and reception of ultrasonic. waves, as well asΔE -effect. Measured displacement depends on ultrasonic waves' passage time.
