摘要

Level crossings, which are located at the intersections that railways and roads should cross on the level, have some problems that likely system failures tend to extend to unsafety events. A great deal of effort, therefore, has been made on safety of the level crossings for a long time. However, it remains an unsettled question how to solve those problems induced by failure conditions of train detection equipment as key events of the crossing controls. Our aim in this paper is to show that the safety of level crossing on the integrated Crossing Control System using electronic controller, which we developed with a special track circuit layout that enables to realize an effective train tracing logic.
