Digital PLLs with additional controlling signal filtering by a filter not consisting in a feedback loop

This paper examines a method for lowering the dispersion of the phase error of a phase-lock control loop system without a substantial increase in the time of the transition process based on the use of a supplemental digital generator controlled by the same phase mismatch signal as the main generator system, but unlinked from the feedback loop. Under these conditions, reduction of phase error dispersion enables the filtration of the controlling signal on its entrance to the external (in relation to the phase-lock control loop) generator, forming the output signal of the system examined.
