Improvement of nonuniform transmission line synthesis in the time domain method using the FDTD method

摘要

The inverse finite difference time domain method is the direct synthsis method of nonuniform transmission line in the time domain. This method has a good performance for the computational efficiency, though the accuracy of the synthesized characteristic impedance profile has not been satisfactory when the number of division of the transmission line is little. In this paper a simple improvement method is described and a synthesis examples is presented to show the validity and usefulness of the method.
