摘要

Rice cv. IR36, Lemont and Koshihikari were grown in pots for 60 days, and the total number and mean size of stem phytomers were calculated. Total root length and root weight increased exponentially with time and linearly with increases in the numberof phytomers; the coefficients of linear increase varied among cultivars. There was positive correlation between the number of phytomers and number of nodal roots for all three cultivars, and also between the size of phytomers and mean length of nodal roots.
