摘要

On the basis of the published results of recent molecular systematic studies, changes are made to the author's classification of the Compositae. To the subfamily Mullsioideae is added the tribe Stiffiieae, to the Carduoideae the trices Gochnatieae, Hecasiucleideae, Dicomeae and Perlyeae, to the Cichurioideae the tribe Gymnarrheneae and to the Asteroideae the tribe Curymbieae. The tribe Heliantheae is divided into 13 supersubtribes, 12 of which are newly established. New tribal placements are accordedto the genera Wa-rioitia (Gundelieae), Haastia (Sehecioneae) Anisopappus and Centipcda (Heliantheae). Further discussed is the problem of the relationships between phyiogcnctic trees, cladograms and classifications (taxograms) and an index ot homomorphyHI is proposed as a measure of the degree of isomorphy of a classification and a corresponding cladogram.
