Price growth to continue in March-April

In February, the rise in strip prices has pushed up the producers - quotations for 57-108 mm GOST 10704(05) welded pipes by 11-14%. For domestic consumers, strip has got more expensive by 15%. The hike in pipemakers’ prices has resulted from the gap between domestic and FOB quotations for flat products. In March, export prices for HR coils will most probably rise further (up 10-12%).
