The Natural Gas Supply Association expects more pressure on US gasprices this winter compared with last, as record production keeps pacewith historic demand.In its 2019-20 winter outlook, the group predicted record averagedemand of 109.3 Bcf/d, driven by LNG terminal requirements andpipeline exports and especially by growing use of gas in the powergeneration sector, where 7 GW of gas-fired newbuild is estimated tohave come online in 2019.
